Thanks for all the reply posts.I guess it’s been a bit of a shock because at last years (1st) appointment with the paed-urologist,it was felt that surgery pobably wouldn’t happen until just b4 puberty and at this years follow-up appointment,we’re having surgery!LizYes Aimee, she did present the risks (cutting off blood supply and losing the glans) which is probably why I am so worried! And no, I agree with you totally and won’t let video etc be taken or intrusion from students. I don’t feel as though all my questions have yet been answered, I think I was in too much shock to ask them all. Linda (Aust. support pres.) mentioned keeping the wound clean with saline for dirty nappies...hadn’t even thought of that one!!
