the most cruelest thing that was ever said to me was by a parent of a cah with CAH...."ewww gross ...." another one was a nurse that said ambiguous gentials "look weird" or the term "freak stamp" or "National Enquire" by other parents. -this might not be a good board for any starting a relationship question.

Guys that I’ve told did things like show me their scars ....tell me about their relatives that had whatever problems and these were people that you think are  supposed to be insensitive. They were more interersted in the adrenal gland part and how the whole system functioned - I compared it to a car.

Intamacy is difficult enough and I’m so glad that long ago that someone husband who’s wife has CAH took the time to write me and tell me the most beautiful loving thoughts about his wife ...the CAH wasn’t anything less or better but it just was.

 

I think you are more help than a therapist w/ this.....you cared enough to write.
