(Waving) from cloudy south florida! Your’re not here asking about CAH and that is the sad part.....if someone just came and wanted to know the whole picture of CAH then maybe a different response would come up. This is nothing against you Kiddo ; ) somewhere halfway around the world in some little frozen country (smile - just having fun here)  you’all just vision the one part and it’s the rest of it that is the bigger concern - "I know what the condition is about" .....I hope darling that you would say the condition is about a dysfuntional adrenal gland : ) Can you describe the symtoms of an adrenal crisis?

The word intersex ...just a medical term to describe externally what some girl baby’s external genitalia look like at birth and the major medical universities such as this one use the term Cornell http://www.cornellurology.com/uro/cornell/pediatrics/genitoplasty.shtml and until the parents write to universities like this one the term Intersex will always be in play. It’s not sex but a term like cleft palete ...it’s used instead of what the heck is it. It’s no different than a medical glitch in the heart or hand . In my medical records was the term Pseudo- Hermaphroditism secondary to Simple- Virilizing 11 hydroxylase Deffiency Classical Adrenal Hyperplasia.

When it comes down to it .....Intersex by the source you have might anyone without intersex conditions also.  I’m a petite little woman ....the girls that I played field hockey with ......they were huge w/ with broad shoulders and all ...I saw their parents @ that characteristic was passed from their Dad....big girls .....I had to run. I have another friend from Spain ....she’s beautiful but she has tons of hair on her arms - an ethnic trait of her family ..no hormone issue there.

I was a social work student in another life time and the professor thought it was a wonderful idea for us to sit in on a drug rehab meeting. I felt horrible and it was peeking.
