aimeeDear Eeva,
I’m glad that you got all my posts and you must be a little bewildered after maybe looking at a web site such as Cornell University (six paragraph down)http://cornellurology.com/uro/cornell/pediatrics/genitoplasty.shtml
and the doctors from these schools http://www.isna.org/about/medical/board/ include CAH under the intersex umbrella then to post here and get the CAH nope .....nothing doing with intersex. If parents don’t agree then they need to write to those that matter ...the ones with the M.D and Ph.D behing their names the ones that put out this stuff and lecture at the universities.
Peoplesay negative things about any medical condition but after they learn about it ....get some education then then something like CAH is actually boring.
If it wasn’t the word intersex nobody would know about the condition period. If it wasn’t for the small % of us girls born with whatthe heck are those genitals or those of us with really big clitorises ... people with cah would still be dying for no reason.
This is an endocrine metabolic condition. Just wish the condition would become more mudane. Parents are upset by any condition and scary because this one is life threatening ..
