I posted a few days ago concerning my little SWCAH guy, Gabe, who was vomiting.  Thanks to all of you who responded.  He is quite well - bounced back very quickly.  I’m embarrassed to say that I didn’t "get" that vomiting could be a symptom of crisis even though I read and reread CAH literature and postings daily.  In the almost 2 years that we have been learning about and living with CAH in our life I was always thinking of vomiting in terms of it "possibly" leading to crisis if Gabe doesn’t maintain meds and stay hydrated.  It scares me a bit that we didn’t fully understand the situation because we have always used extreme caution concerning Gabe’s well being and ask lots of questions.  I have just ordered the Parent’s Guide to CAH and look forward to its arrival.
