My 9 yr old daughter with SWCAH had surgery at age 2.  About a year later, she had vaginal bleeding and discharge and "spitting sutures", meaning some sutures didn’t dissolve and were now coming out in little pieces.  We went through so much testing with her to rule out precocious puberty, tumor, thyroid problems, under-suppression, over-suppression, urological problem, etc.  It was a very frustrating time.  After 9 months, we brought her in for yet another cystoscopy-and the urologist found a vaginal polyp that was irritated.  It was removed and cauterized with no further trouble.  She also has always very sensitive skin, so is easily irritated when sweating, any time of the year.  She changes underwear frequently and doesn’t take baths, only showers.  I hope everything works out hang in there!
