My older daughter was even more sensitive to soaps than my 9 yr old.  We had to stop bubble baths early and be careful when washing.  It certainly was a stage we went through with both daughters.  Even when they were out of diapers I used A&D ointment to help soothe the skin.  Hope this helps.
