You are welcome! No, I am not a nurse or doctor, though I did co-write "CAH: A Parents’ Guide," with my son’s endocrinologist.

I know you were disappointed that the book did not include more on 17-hydroxylase deficiency, and I apologize for that. But, because symptoms and treatment can be very different for 17-OH deficiency and 21-OH deficiency---almost the opposite, in some cases---it would have been difficult to do justice to the subject without writing at least another 100 pages. Maybe in my next life!

Anyway...as I’ve said before, I really admire the matter-of-fact way you and your family have handled your CAH, especially considering the storms that can brew when the topics of sexuality and sexual development come up. You seem to handle it so well, and I really applaud you for that!
