The docs don’t know how all of it started. But something caused him to have high blood pressure. It is not the salt or florinef. He is on the lowest dose possible and his last renin was 10.8, that is still alittle high. The severe bp is what enlarged his heart. His heart function was in the teens when he was hospitalized. In my heart I do believe it somehow connected to his cah. I will pray for you and maybe someday we will find an answer. Right now he is on a beta blocker,lasix, and hydralizine for his bp. He started out on alot more. take care
