Congratulations on the birth of your new baby daughter...... Being scared of anything NEW is normal. We have ALL been there. The news of CAH and the numbers and the medication is at first extremely overwhelming and you wonder OH MY GOD can I do this? YES you can ! After a while it becomes as normal as anything else. She will need to be seen by the Endo Doctors and her medication will need to be monitored by him /her. CAH is not a lifestyle....how you handle it is? I treat my grandchild the same way I treated my  children. You watch them a little more closely when they are sick and you pray for health and a cure for CAH ..but other than them taking meds and possibly having surgery  (if chosen) you will enjoy your daughter more than anything in life. You will find yourself stronger than you EVER thought possible and you will research everything you can to benefit your child as you would with anything.  Hope this helps calm you some?  If you have questions....... fears or tears this is the place. We are here for you .
