Tink’s MomWe always follow the thinking that if we double it we can’t hurt our daughter, but if we don’t we can. I always follow up with her Endo. the next day and ask if he agreed with what I did. Sometimes he has said that he did not feel we needed to stress dose, but most of the time he has agreed that it was the right decision. It’s also easy for him to say that the stress dose was not necessary, he hears about it the next day when all the decisions are already made and she’s actting like herself again. Hindsight is always 20/20.
Also, RSV is a virus and antibiotics only work on bacteria. They would do nothing for the RSV & overused antibiotics become less effective & that leads to superbugs..just watched a special on that a few weeks ago.....scary stuff
