Ash, when under stress, a normal person makes extra cortisol, so when you have CAH your body cannot do that.  Most of the time I think you would feel a bit sick which would pass, have mild symptom such as a headache, just like a lot of people who do not have CAH get, when under stress.  However when seriously stressed, like a broken leg, fever and bad sickness, the body itself is stressed, then you could head towards a crisis if you do not take extra medication.  Day to day stress affects us all differently, which I think is why some people who have CAH, suffer when taking exams, yet some do not.  If you are stressed, there are many here who will gladly try to help.
