Well..when the whole thing started she would prefer to be carried.  At first we did not even think about it, then we started to challenge her.  She would want to be carried, but I would make her crawl a few steps to me before I would carry her.  Then as we progressed we would not carry her in the house at all, we would challenge her as much as we could.  Honestly I would cry sometimes b/c I knew I was doing the best thing for her b/c I would see her progressing...HOWEVER my heart would break watching her crying and struggling.

She still hates the stairs, she will cry and scream &just come unglued sometimes.  She wants to be carried down the stairs still.  I have seen her progress & I am so thankful, but it is heartbreaking at times
