Well I have not worked for almost 5 yrs.  So I decided it was time financially and mentally to get a job. I started working just 3 days aweek.  This month would of been 6 mths!!!!

My SWCAH grandson was sick for almost 2 yrs trying to get  his meds & levels straight. We did it! I wanted to wait until he was in school full time & things were all together.  School was great, nurse at school etc. 

Well in the 6 mths that I worked just 3 days a week (job sharing mind you) I got fired.  We all got the stomach flu & I missed a week of work. Prior to that the school nurse called & I had to pick him up from school on more than one occasion. Mind you it was job sharing so if I couldn’t come in on the Mon, Wed or Fri I would come in on the alternate days we would switch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only that it was a family member that owned the business. They didn’t understand CAH at all & didn’t care. Didnt want to hear about.

I was wondering how anyone holds down a job?? I know I should of made arrangements for when he was sick but really I was the on ly one that was able to pick him up from school etc????
