Fiona, it is my son that is on the pump. It really does give fantastic control, and because the dose can be so accurately titrated, there are far fewer side effects.  I think what you need to stress to your endo, is that really, it is same drug only being delivered differently via a pump which is used for diabetics. Perhaps you could email me geertsma@tiscali.co.uk and I could give you a bit more information.  If you could see the difference in my son, not just his levels, but his whole life, you would be amazed.  I cannot praise the pump enough.
