Congrats.  I have  a soon to be 5 year old son with SWCAH.  He was diagnosed at one week.  I remember being so scared at first, but honestly he has had a normal life.  He does go to the doc. a little more than most, but he has been healthy.  We have been through two broken arms already.  He has been in the hospital one extra night after his initial diagnoses.  This was due to one of the broken arms.  I promise it will get better, and you will get where you don’t think about it constantly.  You’re little boy will be just like an other!
