While I appreciate your commitment to ensuring we all know how you feel about the term "special needs" which by the way is basically defined as; a child of any age that has a psysical, mental or emotional disablity, mild to severe.  I am not here to debate its definition, that is a topic better left for the controversy board.

I was simply saying that Misty posted because she was concerned about her children being ill, "special needs" or not.  She was asking for support/advice about her sick children not a repremand from you for using a word you felt was used incorrectly.

I know that sometimes we can be sensitive to societies labeling of our children and jump to their defense quickly but Misty, like us lives with CAH day to day and has a complete understanding of what it means to care for her children, "special needs" and all.
