Another pretty good, free one is SpyBot Search & Destroy (S&D). My nephew’s computer was heavily infected to the point where I was going to format the hard drive and reinstall everything when my computer guru told me to download and install HitMan Pro. This program downloads every free spyware/adware eraser plus a few trial versions. It ran for 2 hours and found/killed over 230 viruses/spyware programs.
