My daughter had NO problems potty training.  She trained before she was 2.  She does leak a little.  It is something she deals with and yes she could use a panty shield but hasn’t yet.  The leaking happens when she stands up.  It is not a big deal and isn’t enough to wet her through.  I have not heard of a reason to reduce the clitoris except for appearance.  My daughter is almost 6 and is doing great with out surgery.  Julia
