LaurieSorry I didn’t get back to anybody sooner. Things have been hectic and I don’t always have a lot of time to check the computer. I’ve suffered for about 20 years now, and was actually "diagnosed" about 10 years ago (maybe longer). It progressively gets worse every year. For the most part I am in pain 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I go through good periods and bad periods. The good periods mean the pain is at a more tolerable level. During the bad periods I can barely function at all. Most of the time I’m somewhere in between. My biggest problem area seems to be my upper back and neck, but the pain is not confined to those areas. I have pain EVERYWHERE.... from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. I don’t know anybody who believes this is a "real" medical problem. Even my doctor insists that it’s a sleep disorder that can be corrected. I don’t have a sleep disorder. Just the same I followed her advice and followed a regular bedtime schedule and took trazadone every night for three months. It didn’t "cure" me. It didn’t even make a difference. It’s tough to deal with a problem that nobody - including the doctor - thinks is really "real". Well I guess the doctor does think it’s real, but she thinks I could change it and fix things if I really wanted to.... like maybe I don’t!!???
Danny I’m going to try that link you put above and see if I can find anything with it. A search feature is great, that would be nice to see available at the top of the page somewhere.
