Just wanted to let everyone know I had a CVS done at 12 weeks and unfortunately it didn’t work.  My placenta was high so they had to do the needle in my abdomen, which I have to say was slighlty uncomfortable.  He had to poke the needle in 3 times to get the cells.  Turns out they only got my cells not the baby’s cells.  So we don’t even know boy/girl.  We have a amnio scheduled for Feb. 7.  Looks like a little while on the steroids.  I hope I don’t have to stay on them I have already gained @ 30 lbs and I am only 15 weeks!!  My face and arms and belly are all huge!  People think I am 6 months pregnant.  I am chalking some of my size up to the fact that this is my 2nd pregnancy and my son is only 16months old.  Well just wanted everyone to know my situation.  I’ll let you know when we get our results.  Keep your fingers crossed.
