I know that your daughter needs the steroids, and they should not cause all the side affects that steroids cause in someone that does not need them, but I think it is possible.  I am on dex because I am pregnant with a baby girl with SWCAH.  It caused major acne on my back and chest for a few months; it finally went away and now I have it on my face.  Your daughters could just be puberty also.  Around age 12 and 13 I had acne on my back and nowhere else.  I do not have CAH.
