My daughter Ashley, SWCAH, will be 11 in April.  Last night while she was taking her shower she asked me to come in there.  She has some black hair growing that looks like it will be pubic hair.  She was not concerned, she just wanted me to know about it.

So, is she getting ready to start puberty?  She has b/o so she wears deoderant,  sometimes she is moody (who isn’t) and she occasionally gets a pimple on her nose or cheek. And since we lowered her Dex back in October she has grown about 3.5 inches.  Which is something we were hoping would happen after we lowered her Dex.  Oh, and breast buds are beginning.

I am going to email the endo, but in the past he had told me that since I went through puberty when I was 12 that if she went through it anytime from age 10 and on that it would be fine.

Is there anything special that I need to do or be on the lookout for?  She already knows about the menstration cycle so when that starts she won’t freak out, but is there anything else that might freak her out?

I’m confused :-)
