I’m with ya’ sister!  My daughter will be 10 in April and she is going through the same thing.  I think- wait this can’t be!  She’s just a baby!!!!!  But I started my period at 11.  Abby and I have talked about what it means to go through puberty and we haved talked several times about periods and what to do when it starts, etc...  What I have found to be 2 amazing assetts are The American Girl books, "The Care and Keeping of You"  and "The Care and Keeping of Your Emotions".  My daughters love these books because they answer the questions they want to ask in a really simple, straight forward and non-scary way.  And when they want to talk about something they read, it’s easy.  These books cover all the confusing and scary times of puberty.  I wish I had something like that when I was going through it.
