Being an EMT I think that it is important that the medical alert braclet be one the childs body. If child would have to be extracted from the vehicle EMT/Firefighter cut seats belts. In a perfect world we may see an emergency alert braclet on a seat belt but, we are trying to keep people stable and things get over looked. As EMTs we are trained to look at necks, wrist and ankles for medical alert information.

Being a parent I understand about having kids take them off and braking them.  I also like the idea of having the medical alert information in your wallet if by chance the braclet is not on.
