Sherry, How frustrating, and scary.  How is your daughter doing? I would definately take this up with your endo and your pediatrician.  Can’t you call the endo on-call first, even if it is far away and have the on-call endo call ahead to the ER?  If they hear it from a doctor they are more likely to listen.  I also think the follow-up idea is important because if this is the hospital you must rely on in an crisis, they must be better prepared.  Still, no IV fluids at all when she was vomiting?? And they said she was dehydrated.  I hope both you and her are feeling better today.
