LauraHey KAT!
Thanks so much for posting. This is what I was looking for. I definately am printing this out for my CAH book I have. As far as her hives go, ironically since we increased her cortef her hives have subsided! Hmm. We also put her on that circadium (sp?) method of dosing and had an increase in her cortef because she was under suppressed. The endo. noticed breast buds forming last visit and I swear they grow by the day! I think my daughter is willing them to grow because she is so waiting to buy a bra! Then we have the teacher she has. She is stearn, yet very rewarding to the children. I work there on Wednesdays and she definately makes me nervous because of her high expectations of the class. Then there is a side to this teacher that would blow you away. The rewards she gives the children are out of this world. She rewards for the high expectations that are met. I just wish she could balance out her sterness a bit more. BUT I have asked the other parents about their children and how they handle this teacher and they all say just fine. (except one boy but has adjusted since I first asked in the fall) Her grades are great, her friends are nice, and yet you would never know that she is stressed trying to toe the line in this class. I have asked the teacher and she said she has been doing great and is a star student always outstanding behavior. She is a LOT like me when it comes to never showing stress outward. Someone could probably hold a gun to my head in a robbery and I could talk them down like it was a cake walk, yet inside my heart is ready to stop from anxiety. So she is a lot like me holding in her feelings of anixiety, which is not healthy. Especially that her body really cannot handle it well. We are due for another blood draw at the end of this month and I just can’t wait. I think I am just dealing with the sadness head on and not trying to dissect it so much. I may never find the core to this and in the meantime, she needs to get through this. I am going to see if this sadness occurs on the weekends. It should be interesting. Thanks so much for your help, AGAIN.
