Cody’s doctor did an ultrasound to see if there was a tumor on her adrenals. He said that tumors can sometimes develop when your adrenals are working so hard. They were okay. He told us about the rests that could develop into another adrenal, but that it would be small and not produce a whole lot. The treatment would be to increase her meds, but that she shouldn’t need as much as she did before the surgery. Obviously, there are no guarantees. He wanted to research the pump and time release meds, but promised he’d check into it and let us know at our next visit. We are seriously considering the surgery, but are keeping in mind future treatments or a cure. We can only hope and pray!
