Just thought this might help. I am a RN, used to work at a hospital in northern Michigan. So every now and then the ambulance crew, emt, paramedics would come through and I would ask them what they would do if they came upon an accident with someone wearing a medic alert tag that read CAH, adrenal insufficiency. They said "never heard of it, why?"  This message is to let you all know we as parents need to educate everyone that has some kind of care involved with our children.  Don’t take for granted just because they are in the medical field that they have a clue, it is called the practice of medicine for a reason there is no exacts. When my son was 4 he started with pubic hair, acne and oily hair. Had to push for 2 full years to get tests run. Lost precious time he grew rapidly. Thankfully he is now 14 and we just continue to learn as we go.  Just a thought.
