my ggrandson

My ggrandson has CAH. His mother is bipolar and everytime anyone asks how things are she says oh he is doing great. My grandson can’t take time off from work to go to the dr. with them. I have tried but she gets upset. There are three other children in the house and I am wondering if both parents have to be carriers for a child to have CAH? Should the girls be tested to see if they are carriers. Can just one parent be a carrier to have a child who is. I just spoke with the mother and now she tells me he only has cah 90%. I had the baby this weekend for a few hours and his breathing is awful. mom tells me it is just a little cold and because he is only 5 months he can’t cough up the phelm. I swear he stopped breathing while I held him. I moved him and he started up. I am REALLY worried. Any help or info would sure be welcomed.

Bless you and your children.  Carol
