Dosing times

I’m having a problem spacing out the time I give my daughter her Cortef.  We give it to her three times a day, the first in the morning when she wakes up around 8:00am and the last one when she goes to bed at around 8:30pm.  Now, in a perfect world she would then get her afternoon pill at 2:00pm.  Well, this is when she’s taking her afternoon nap.  She goes down for her nap at around 1:00 and doesn’t get up until around 3:30, sometimes even later.  I then give her her afternoon dose when she wakes up, but a lot of time that only leaves a 4 1/2 hour gap until she gets her night time dose.  I know a lot of you guys give medicine while your child is asleep, but my daughter is a light sleeper and wakes up and doesn’t go back to sleep easily.  I would love some help with this problem.  Does it matter that two of the doses are close together?  I asked my endo and he said it was fine, but I like to double check with you guys.
