I agree with staying home when you are sick, child or adult!  We keep our children home when they are sick!  The problem with the staying home from work is your employer.  If you use your sick days to stay home with your CAH children then there is not sick time for yourself.  If we are really sick, then yes, we will stay home but we try and save our sick time for the children.
