re: losing teeth and bone age

I am not sure but my 9 year old is just getting his 6 year molars-  his teeth have been late all along,  no teeth until 15 months or so.  Anyway his bone age was suppressed until 2 nd grade and then his endo reduced his cortef, and he really grew,  jumped from 30%  to  75%  for height,   anyway his bone age advance quickly,  and now it is a bit advanced,  maybe a year.  He did not feel very well on the lower dose of cortef,  I did not realize it at the time.  He said he did not even have enough energy to play at recess.  He seems to be feeling really well on his current dose 5 mgs am, 2.5 mgs afternoon, and the 5 mgs pm.  So his bone age is 11 years old and he is just getting his 6 year molars?  No tgrwoing mcuh currently,  so I would guess they will reduce his cortef slightly at his next visit.

I guess that info does not really help...but I do think you need to pay attention to how you child feels energy wise and not just focus on the height issue.

Good luck!
