Hey i’m 14 with SWCAH i was put on pred for a year and personally was not the med for me, i gained about a stone,got achne and was seriously depressed(sorry if that sounds like i’m trying to shock you but it’s true) and well my levels were in the thousands!(they were meant to be 100 and under) so as a result my testerone levels went up causing horrible side effects periods not starting, achne, hair in unwanted places and so on not nice for a 13 year old girl. However i was on a high dose so the effects may be different but it wasn’t the med for me...But i am ’unusual’ because dex usually doesn’t always work out for people but it’s the perfect med for me..achne has gone periods have started and hair growth isn’t as rapid( i’m also under going laser treatment for hair) But the med may work out for you if you don’t try it you wont know however bad the effects may sound sorry but i’ve had to learn that way there have be other ways=] i hope it workds out ok for her and i wish you luck x
