double dosing

I’m going to try to make a long story short. Most know that I have locah, I also have a child with locah so I’m posting on this board.

The day before yesterday I decided to double dose my daughter for a day or 2, since our dog had been ran over and suffered miserably, I had to have him out to sleep. It was awful, well my daughter’s face broke out terrible...we were thinking she may begin her period soon, so I thought we would double dose a little to keep the androgens down from the stress of his the accident and his death, and her period. Well I don’t think we will EVER do that again. My normally docile, happy child bursted into screaming fits a couple of times and threw everything out of proportion. She cried a lot too...eh, I have to say that I KNOW the Cortef did that because it is so unlike her usual self. I have seen where parents have posted about their infants or toddlers becoming irritable, having crying fits while stress dosing...um...now I truly believe that it is due to the steroids. Sometimes I wonder if by taking the steroids, it effects our normal personality as I usually CAN"T cry but I CAN and DO when I am manipulating my steroid dose. I have only stress dosed her for dental work once and once for a sprained ankle, both only one dose. Anybody else have the same experience?
