My wife and I were stunned at the news about the CARES office fire and were trying to find a way to help as they have helped us. While talking today, we had an idea which may allow many of us to help.

We are regular eBay sellers and have found a program within eBay that assists with charity and nonprofit fundraising called Mission Fish. If Cares can become certified in this program, we as sellers can hold auctions to benefit them with direct donations when an item sells. The donation can be from 10-100% of the selling price and any of us that are signed up or get signed up with eBay can sell items to benifit Cares.

I know that Cares email is swamped at the moment but if the organization is certified with that program, I have items ready to sell... Lets hear what you all think!

If anyone from Cares would like information on this program, let me know. We have had pretty good luck with eBay sales in the past and are fairly familiar with the process.
