M.RHi Natalie, actually the othet 2 times I stress dosed her nothing happened. I think this time we over did it and she may not have even needed it. I took her face breaking out as a sign that her hormones had gotten crazy. So we will not do that again, also when I double dosed her it was more than one dose that I did.
Okay they say not to stress dose for emotional stress but did you know that if you are the one getting the labs done and you had a hectic day, or your drive before the lab was stressful it could change the outcome of the results. Also if a child is upset and screaming while having labs drawn it will effect the outcome. So I don’t see why not, as long as one didn’t do it on a regular basis as steroids will inhibit growth and may cause aggression and depression. My daughter is almost 14 and they feel she is finished growing. She is 5’1 and I am 5’1 1/2. I finished growing around the same time and I was not treated for locah. I also had symptoms at a young age that leads me to feel that mine is a little more than mild. The condition is so crazy!! So I feel like she should have been taller than me, considering she has a very mild case and had virtually no symptoms and was treated, whereas I had symptoms at age 4 or 5 and was not treated till age 25.... go figure.....
