My 11 year old SWCAH son recently brook his foot.  All went well and there was no crisis.... we all stayed calm and things worked out just fine.  My question is this.  The following day we saw the orthopedist to have the foot evaluated and casted.  It’s actually a removable cast / brace like contraption.  Anyhow, he commented that because of the CAH he wasn’t sure how quickly he would heal.  I’m curious what others have experienced with broken bones.
