i have a 6 months old baby girl who has swcah.when she went through adrenal crises, docs did blood sugar levels every day.when i asked about getting a monitor, they didn’t encarage me.they said it is not nesasary.

but i have  thought that if the blood sugar level is low that means she is going to a crises.two times she went to crises with out showing any signs only way docs knew from her blood test that she is on crises.both times her pottasium levlels more than 6.7 and she didn’t show any signs atall.so i thought monitoring her sugarlevels might help to know when she is go in to crises but doctors said that her sugar level low doesen’t mean that she is going in to crises.

so i am bit confuse on this matter.i just wanted to share my experience.

take care
