Our 3 children have been accepted to participate in a study at the above clinic in Bethesda, Maryland.  The study consists of many tests, including labs, hormonal evaluations including insulin resistance, ultrasounds and genetic testing.  I am sooo happy to receive such a thorough 2nd opinion, especially since our current genetic testing proves difficult to find a definitive answer.  I questioned as to whether or not there were going to be rooms filled with docs gauking at my children’s private parts.  They assured me that was not going to happen -- I wouldn’t allow it anyway.   Airfare, hotel, everything is paid for!!  My kids are excited because we never have extra money for travel and they have never been on an airplane!!!  Have any of you ever been involved in studies such as these?
