When Ryan was 5 (and going through problems with the liquid cortef) his blood sugar levels were off the charts.

I, myself (as a carrier) have had several episodes myself after not being able to eat for a while and/or strenuous activity.  Usually a glass of OJ worked quickly for me.

It is a terrible feeling.

Aimee, I called my insurance company and told them about CAH and the blood sugar issue and they sent me a FREE monitor.  You should check with yours and see if they will do the same thing.
