Both of my children get lag cramps on occasion, sometimes pretty bad. My carrier son more so. Steroids can deplete potassium and calcium levels, this can cause leg cramps...particularly in the calves. I myself have had serious calve pain...not like cramps more like in the bone and it hurt so bad I would just hit them and get my hubby to apply deep pressure.

What I also noticed  was that both times I went off Dex (pregnancy and a denial faze) I had severe leg cramps for the duration of the time. I don’t know what the correlation was there. I can only assume that somehow the amount of Dex I was on and it’s anti-inflammatory abilities may have actually been suppressing the pain that may have also been caused by low potassium/calcium. That is my theory anyway.

Phenergan, reglan (anti-nausea meds also seem to provoke restless legs syndrome in me)

My daughter complains of weak joints. Her ankles and wrists get hurt easily.
