My brother and both of his daughters (all non CAH, non carriers) suffer from horrible leg cramps, usually at night.  He found that as long as they take daily vitamins, it tends to help.  He brought it up with the family physician and was told they may not be getting enough potassium.  I also had horrible leg cramps when I was growing up (I am CAH carrier).  Once again, if I ate a banana or took vitamins, the cramps had a tendency to lessen.
