Aimee, I have locah, pretty mild but since I was 6 – but I thought this might make you laugh – I nixed the endo for 2 years because I was at UMICH! I’d actually been to their endocrinology department a couple years back when I was in Detroit for the summer, and I really got a bad impression of the doctors from that visit (all they wanted to know was if I’d had surgery). So when my regular doctor at student health said that she was happy to write my prescriptions and order lab tests, I blew off visiting the endocrinology department again. --Georgia
