Our SWCAH daughter got the chickenpox at 18 months of age.  She hadn’t had the shot for it.  She was OK with it, no temperature, she wasn’t unwell at all.  It was just a nuisance for me as I was 8 months pregnant with our second child.  We didn’t give her any extra medication during the time because she was not presenting unwell at all and she had no increase in temperature.
