my son had terrible leg cramps for the many years before he was diagnosed with nonsw cah. When he was diagnosed at age 6 his bones were already 12 1/2 so the endo put him on lupron depot to slow the growing and that helped tremendously along with motrin and tylenol. Hope this helps
