It is thought that with me that it is CAH related, but I also have a hernia and ulcer and it is thought that it could of been happening for years when thought it was reflux and it might of been a SVT. I have been on Cortisone all my life and dex for 18 years.

All the medication I am on Dex 0.5mg 1morn,1night, Florinef 0.1mg 1morn,1night. Metoprolol 50mg 1morn (heart beta blocker), Somac 40mg 1morn,1night (ulcer). Slow K 600mg 2morn,2night (potassium supplement). then vitamins.

Cortisone does cause heart damage, ulcers, hernias, but Endo’s don’t agree with that. Cortisone causes no problems. I have been all my own doses for the last 10 years and all the Endo can say is that i have no idea what i am doing. My mother is a registered Nurse so i think we know and I am also a Nurse’s aide myself. And I am the one going through the side effects and the psychosis not him. I wish at times that the Endo’s could be put through the meds we go through and then know what is happening.
