LauraHey Wendy Lee! I think soemwhere out there we ARE related. Yes. I just went through a long serious of tests this past December. They did an upper G.I., a CAT scan, and they did an ultra sound. They thought it was my liver because I had this bad pain that was located right over my liver. Thank GOD it turned out to be an ulcer. I had myself in a grave I was so worried. My stomach lining also was "burned" sorta say. I have pictures wanna see? I laughed when they handed them to me. WHAT was I supposed to scrap book these puppies? Although I did have fun and posted them on my refridgerator door for a while. They never mentioned low acid. They did test for the bacteria but it turned out negative. I also have acid reflux. SO I am on some stomach meds. Since I have been on those, cut out orange juice, wine, and spicy foods and so far I feel SO much better. They say the ulcer and eating of my stomach lining came from too many Motrin. I go through many headaches. I also had a brain scan to see why I had so many headaches. They test showed a clear scan (had all my marbles) I believe it is caused by my neck. I was in a few accidents that ruined my neck. I think those injuries have arthritis now. I never went back to investigate the neck/headaches. They seem to have subsided. PLUS because of the good ole’ U.S.A.’s medical insurance companies, I have So many medical bills to pay off even though the companies paid 80 percent. BUT 80 percent of a 1 thousand dollar medical bill is STILL a lot. So I wait.
ALSO I too have I.B.S. since I was young I had I.B.S. AND in turn when I take the Advil or Motrin, ugh, it kills me. BUT regular Tylenol doesn’t touch my headaches. So I take it knowing I will suffer. My I.B.S. seemed to subside after I had my daughter. This may connect your theory. They say hormone changes can help I.B.S. Did you ever hear of that? Ok now that I wrote a book! I hope this info. helps your research. Take care!
