I too had the same problems with mine wearing off. I’ve worn a medic alert since 6th grade and am now 40. In the last 2 yrs I purchased one through Cody Cares that Jenny sells and LOVE it. Very durable and I got a thick mesh like material with a clasp.

I highly recommend them.
