L’smomDear TSarah,
May I add to the suggestions from others by urging you to check with your local health department. In the state of Georgia, the health departments offer subsidised blood tests. Otherwise, your testosterone, androstenedione, etc blood work could run you several hundred dollars. You really need an endocrinologist and that endocrinologist will want blood tests. I agree with the idea of getting on your parents’ insurance. If that is not possible, you might try your local Medicaid department to see if you qualify for any insurance. I’m not sure what the laws are like in WA, but it dosen’t hurt to try. Good Luck.
